Healthcare branding with community at the core.

Accucare of North Florida, Branding

A public-health–inspired brand built for real people.

AccuCare of North Florida is a new family practice physician’s office, operated by a local physician and their family, bringing healthcare to a community that needs someone who understands its concerns. The family physician practice opened in a lower-income section of the city, transforming a rundown shopping mall and a derelict bank building into a health care center that the neighborhood was proud of and delighted to have this additional access to medical treatment. A comprehensive branding strategy emphasizing community trust, personalized care, and local roots was essential to differentiate AccuCare’s approach and build loyalty among the community.

The outcome: We started with the fundamentals, strategy, and a marketing plan. We moved to the mission statement, key messages, and creative aspect. We focused on simple, clean, and innovative design elements and created a public health style design and feel for the overall branding. We then shaped these ideas into a brand (logo, corporate ID package, brochure, rack cards, advertising & PR). We launched with a Grand Opening event that attracted local politicians and community leaders and engaged residents in the clinic’s walking areas. Churches, schools, and other community resources were the focus of extensive outreach efforts to foster a sense of shared ownership and participation.
